Il sistema di misura orario in centesimi suddivide i 60 minuti di un ora in 100 parti.

1 minuto su 60 minuti equivale ad X su 100 centesimi di ora. X = (1 * 100) / 60 = 1,7 centesimi di ora, ovvero 0,017

Analogamente la misura di 5 centesimi di ora, ovvero 0,05, su 100 equivale a X su 60 minuti. X = (5 x 60) / 100 = 3 minuti. Oppure X = 0,05 * 60 = 3 minuti.

Riportiamo di seguito una tabella di conversione che approssima matematicamente i centesimi di ora al solo valore intero.
